Rudrabhishek Puja is a sacred ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva, aimed at seeking his blessings and guidance. The puja involves elaborate ceremonies performed by a team of learned priests, invoking the divine presence through mantras, offerings, and prayer.

A group of 7 or 11 priests as per your preference will conduct the Puja and will make sure that all the necessary puja items are ready, including milk, water, yogurt, honey, ghee, sugar, sesame oil, and various fruits. Also they will arrange flowers, incense sticks, camphor, betel leaves, betel nuts, and sweets.

The Puja starts with (Sankalp) Setting Intention which means stating the purpose of the puja, seeking blessings, and offering respect to the deities and ancestors.

The priests perform a live prayer followed by Abhishekam (ritualistic bathing) of the Shiva Lingam with milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, sugarcane juice, Sugar, Panchamrit, Bhaang, Bhasm, Chandan, Fruits, Black sesame, Rosewater, Coconut water, Curd and water. Mantras are chanted during this process, inviting the divine presence.

At this point, the priests recite specific mantras addressing Lord Shiva and chanting your name, seeking his blessings for your well-being and concerns.

Offer flowers, incense, fruits, and sweets to Lord Shiva as symbols of devotion and humility. A special Gauri Ganesh Puja is performed in between to invoke the blessings of Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha. This puja is tailored to address your specific concerns and needs.

After which the priests conduct a Homa, a fire ritual, where offerings are made to the fire along with the chanting of Vedic mantras. After the Homa, Aarti is performed, accompanied by ringing bells and singing devotional songs.

The blessed items from the puja are collected and distributed as Prasad to underprivileged individuals, sharing the auspiciousness and blessings of the puja and the divine blessings received from the Lord.

The puja concludes with a final prayer, seeking Lord Shiva’s blessings for peace, prosperity, and well-being. Participants express their gratitude and devotion.

The Rudrabhishek Puja typically spans 7 to 8 hours, involving intricate rituals and ceremonies. The price for the puja is $700 for 7 priests and $1000 for 11 priests covering the expenses for the priests, materials, location charges and all the arrangements.
